My name is Rudie van der Weij. I'm a 27 year old Communications & Multimedia Design student and this blog is all about my daily routine as such.

Currently I'm working on my graduations project at NDC | VBK publishers. They are a media company that produce two regional newspapers, they adopted over a dozen bookpublishers and ofcourse are into publishing websites. That's also where I come in.

My focus is mainly agile development with Ruby on Rails, but next to being a web developer I'm also experienced as a CamJo (Camera Journalist) for TV-broadcast. I did a traineeship at a regional TV-broadcast station, Omrop Fryslan.

So what do these two subjects have to do with eachother?

Not much, but I just like a lot of both worlds and all the while during my education I just didn't make a definite choice (I think I never will).

Well I think that's more than enough about me as for starters. I will keep this page updated because I'm getting closer to my diploma and after that I'm gonna get a job and probably a lot of changes will take place.
